Welcome to Foxes and Wildcats Class.
Hello and welcome to Foxes! Foxes class teacher is Mr Masterson and Wildcats class teacher is Mrs Sharp. We have Mrs Chantry as our teaching assistant. Our classrooms are bright, well-resourced place and learning is always fun! We have plenty of outdoor space too, as the playground is attached to our classroom. We use this to extend our learning, particularly in the spring and summer terms.
We enjoy English and maths every day. Most of our subjects are taught with specific knowledge goals and much of our art and design and technology also links to our history and geography to consolidate our learning. .
Some of our subjects are taught by specialist staff including; - Spanish music instrumental lessons and, Art and Design Technology. We have two weekly PE lessons and the timetable for the week will be on Class Dojo, so please make sure the children come to school dressed in their PE kit on these days.
Our homework consists of weekly spellings, mathematics tasks linked to learning and TTRockstars (by the end of Year 4 all learners are expected to know their times tables up to 12 x 12). We are also encouraged to read with an adult at least four times a week at home although decodable books are also available as well as free readers to make sure we meet the needs of all our learners.
